Are you looking to start a mindfulness practice or brush up on a practice that you may have started before and let go? We have curated a program that will allow you to get on the right track.
As Dr. Marla tells her patients, a mindfulness practice (like meditation) teaches us that we cannot get rid of our problems, that life is inherently problematic and challenging. Instead, mindfulness teaches us how to handle those problems of life with greater strength, emotional agility, and courage, and how to use problems as lessons and bridges to higher consciousness.
The intention of mindfulness meditation is self-awareness, not a “blissed-out” state that is free from all problems and obstacles. This is the place where you can learn those skills and how to incorporate them into your daily life.
This integrative class combines the therapeutic practices of self-reflection, restorative yoga, meditation, sound healing and aromatherapy to introduce more holistic modalities for stress management. Train the brain to find more emotional and mental well-being.
Class is open is all levels, including those new to mediation and yoga.
